Define move/rotate/scale tool and the coordinate system (world, parent, local, gimbal) per object and let Max automatically switch based on your selection.

After years of manually changing tools and coordinates and wasting my energy, I thought its about time to change that. I hope you find this as useful as I do!

Introducing my little "Favorite Transforms" tool.

Store your favorite tool (move, rotate and scale) and coordinate system settings ONCE into the objects user property via the SET button.
(Rightclick the buttons to open the object properties to check.)

Enable the Tool via the "Enable Favorite Transforms" Button.
(You can close it afterwards, its persistent throughout the 3ds Max session)

It adds a callback, which checks for the last selected object and changes the tool and setting accordingly.

SIMPLE. EASY. NICE. *clock*

To stop doing this, (maybe) open the tool dialog again and disable the button again.

You will never have to manually change to the right transform tool again.
Saves time and annoying shortcut finger work.

How to install:
Run the script. Go to Customize > and search for "HellTools" category and "Favorite Transforms Tool" command. Put it to a menu, a keyboard shortcut or a toolbar.
It toggle open/closes based on Paul Neals struct approach.
