Description

usage This script will help you to clean polygonal meshes from the useless vertex, for example after the Boolean operations. Script will find vertexes with 2 egdes only and, depending from angle between edges (treshhold you can control), will clean it. So you can leave a corner vertexes and clean vertexes on straight lines.

Additional Info

1) Download script ( Right Click - Save As.. )
2) Run it via menu "MaxScript - Run Script" or DragAndDrop it on 3dsmax viewport
3) Choose "Customize - Customize user interface" and add script to Keyboard shotcut or in Menus, Toolbars or, like on image, in to the quad. You will find it in Category: Shiva Tools.

It is good, but only removes stray vertex that are on top of an edge, if you've floating vertex won´t fix.

--no ""u-"" fuction for undefined

Nothing happens when I run the script

This script is just what I need! I also found one on ScriptSpot called CleanBoolean that may also prove useful.
However, after installing both into my Scripts folder, when I select Run Script and pick one, nothing happens!
I have the verts selected in poly sub object mode.
I have other scripts in the same folder that I can run.
I am running Max 2011 64 bit on Vista 64. I even tried running Max in administrator mode.
Any suggestions?

Yes. Read the description.
Its Macroscript so nothing will happend directly after run. You need to customize your UI and put this function everywhere you want it.
