Create Splines just like in AutoCad (angle lock + specifying segment distance )

Hello Scriptspotters!

I have been waiting and searching for certain script or plug-in that helps you create splines just like in Autocad.

Since using Autocad for 3Dartist can be frustraiting, having this tool would help me never need Autocad ever again!a feature like specifying segment distance in certain direction (either position specified by mousepointer cords or ortho oriented) while creating a line can be huge improvement in developing a building plan!

hey thanks guys. im cheking out polyspline but it comes with bunch of errors im trying to fix. im using 3d max 2014 and i guess they stopped releasing script for versions later than 2009. however i need time to work around it and find out how it works

Use whichever works for you.

Would love to see this script updated to create polygons upon closing. Still really good. You can create arcs, then lines, then arcs again much like the polyline command in CAD.
