Need Mesh Statistic Info for SL users.

I'm requesting a scripter to write a simple 3Ds Max's statistic info for selected object that provide selected mesh/object it's "weight".

We would like to see statistic weight of the creation before we have to upload them onto Second Life. It would make workflow much easier and quicker.

However, Linden Lab, maker of Second Life did not make it simple formula to find its weight, which is bound to ask for more information about Second Life in general. I can try my best to provide more information about their formula.

I've just had to switch from Max 2009 to 2011 and discovered the alien abominations called the "Caddies".
Is there any way possible a plugin or script could be written, to rid us of the burden of these anti-productive, uncontrollable blobs floating around my screen ?

Distance Align Then Distribute

I would like a script that does two things with the option of doing both or each individually.

It is just like the Distribute tools for layers in Photoshop.

Example: You have a scene with a handful of objects that you want to distribute.

pls help! Dummy/Helper animated on spline needs xyz Keys!!!!!

Hi all,

i am desperate! I have a dummy/helper animated over a spline. So there are two keys 0 and 100 percent on the spline. As i want to import that Dummy to Eyon Fusion (there is a camera attached) via FBX i guess i need to convert the animation to xyz coordinates in space. Because Fusion does not get the ani that is defined by the spline!
Is there some script or hidden tool in Max that will do that conversion?
Or is it a simple import/export failure that comes with FBX?

please pretty please i need that clue! :-)

Spline friendly Clone MCG\Modifier

Hello,
I'm looking for a simple Clone MCG\Modifier that does not turns splines to meshes when applied. All suitable existing ones turn them to polys. Another nuance the the spline should remain the same (the same vertices number\type). Have you seen something in this direction?

Diffuse Alpha Channel to Opacity Channel

I'm having to import over a thousand 3ds objects into max, each objects material (TGA) has an alpha channel. All I need to do is the Copy Diffuse slot to Opacity slot and set the mono channel output to alpha.
I've been trawling scriptspot for ages, there are lots of Material scripts, but I can't find one that will do this simple task.

I get this from listener.....

make objects pivot look at an object ...

hello ... i was wondering if it is possible to make a bunch of ( 500 and more) objects pivots look at a node or something without affecting the original object .. u can look at the attachment the will give the idea ...

Script request (150 EUR.): workaround for 3dsMax File Link bug

There's a nasty FileLink bug in 3ds Max that has existed since 2004 and has never been fixed. Over the years I've sent several bugreports, steps to reproduce it and have even received confirmation about it being reproduced by Autodesk.. but instead of fixing it, with every release it seems that they only focus on changing stuff that works well..

Display Message on Viewport (toggle)

Hello, I have a small macro and would like to have some text displayed on the viewport when I activate it, I've tried the code from this page:
