Launch Magnify Window

Can anyone tell me the code to launch the material editors magnify window? I've tried recording it as a macro but nothing appears when I double click the material editor slot.

I've also tried assigning it to a hotkey and launching it that way, but no luck :-(

Any help would be much appreciated.
