cycling subobject modes

Would it be possible to make a script that cycles between subobjects modes in poly and spline with the mouse scroll (and a hotkey, of course)

Thanks!

My wife and kid are on vacation, I have to go to work. 12h at work, 12h at home. The best is that I have i-net at work, so my nights are not so boring.
My "BIg" work is my second script pack, but since I don't have time to make the videos, one of my nephews will makes them. I hope till the end of the month everything to be ready, but who knows. :)

O_o

Good luck! You are not the only one in you family who knows mxs. Now you need to rename title for your script pack. Maybe "+ nephew" at the end. :) Just kidding
Did you saw the news about max2014 extension pack which AD will launch in late September. They plan to integrate Pyton finaly.

My nephew will make the videos. He knows nothing about mxs, but wants to learn, which is good. :)

Pyton, sounds good for someone who know how to use it, I don't. :)

...

Neither I. But it's not difficult to learn. Sintaxes are very clear, similar to mxs but I think that fn's are execute faster then mxs. Another benefits can be integration with Maya, Softimage, C4D, Nuke, Blender (which have very cool functions for modeling) etc. In combination with .net users will have opportunity to build powerful tools. Now it's just a matter of how well they integrate Phyton inside max, but already some UI elements like Caddy (a.k.a. Grip) manipulators are writen in Phyton (for now not good solution). Also BLUR studio use P. for their tools. We will see.

Max supports that natively

Max supports that natively btw. Not sure weather it can be done via mouse but via a hotkey('Insert' by default) yes, you can.

Yeah, I was aware of that. I

Yeah, I was aware of that. I just thought it would be nice to flip though suboject modes with the scroll wheel... I know, I'm lazy basterd ;)

Thanks for replying!
