Creating cone primative and exact location using data from Excel

Hi,

I am looking for a way to automate the process by which we create 3D Studio Max camera alignment points. Bascially we do verified photomontages using 3D Studio Max cameras which are aligned over high-resolution photography. To verify the locations we employ a surveyor to visit the actual site they survey the area and send us back and excel spreadsheet of data.

For one camera location they might be 25+ points which need to be created. Sometimes we produce 40+ verified views for a project, each will need all of the these points to be created in 3D space.

I am looking for a script to automatically build a max file with all of these points represented by inverted cones (pivot to be set at the exact co-ordinate. Ideally I would like the 'camera location' data to be represented by a very simple blob human mesh.

Does anyone have information on how do this? Or actually know of anybody who could right such a script for me (paid of course)?
