I don't blame you because I'm curious most of the time even when I sleep :)
I write scripts for other people but mainly to speed up my current workflow.
Most of these tools are intended for one time job but not for next project.
It's easier for me to organize these tools in specific folders and manually run these (or with ScriptRun tool) then cleaning all the time old macros from toolbars, quads, menus. Worst case scenario is reassigning keyboard shortcuts over and over again. And that's nightmare for me. :)
Anyway I do not dispute their use but I like to use different way. :)

You can have multi lines tooltips for the rollout buttons, but for macroscripts - you can't. Aslo there are some special characters that if be used in the tooltip description will not allows you to load the macroscript.
