posting readable code

hello admin and hello all,

how can you post source code with syntax highlighting and tabs and so? i have seen some poeple can do. is ist possible to give some advice on this and maybe put the instructions into the forums guidelines?

this is not meant to be rude but i just scrolled some lines of code without comments and with lost tab-structure. it killed my brain! :p or maybe the rtf-editor can get a "insert-code-here"-button?! :)

thanks in advance!

Actually I just realized

Actually I just realized there was a setting to allow for code brackets using [] (what I was previously using) or the more typically used <> (probably what everyone was trying to use by default).

It's fixed now. You can bracket code with [] or <>

--maxscript code here

Good question.

Good question.

Personally I find it easiest to not use the rich-text editor since links will automatically turn into URL's and I can just use the code tag for syntax highlighting... If course if I need to insert imagery - then I'll use the editor.
