dimension tool
Hello
I look for a tool like dimension+, a lightwave plug in.
It is used to change dimension of a selection of vertex (edit poly object).
It would be great to have orientation option : not just world XYZ, but local, grid,...
Thanks.

Do you mean you want to
Do you mean you want to change 1 of the dimensions (x,y,z) and maintain the proportions of the object?
So maybe when you got a x=1m, y=2m, z=3m and you want to dimensionize the object to x=2m, that automatically y=4m and z=6m? And does this script work on multiple objects or only 1 selected (because proportions of other objects may differ from the one selected)?
Sorry I have to ask that, I dont know how the Lightwave equivalent of Gianni Soldati works :)
hello again In fact, perhaps
hello again
In fact, perhaps there is a misundestanding :
I have in mind to just change the vertexes bounding box, not the whole object.
hello Thank you very much
hello
Thank you very much for your investissment. :-))
I think that it can help many people !!!
I just have 2 requests :
- in Lightwave when you run the script, dimension x,y and z are filled with selected vertexes bounding box size : if I select some vertexes and need just to change z size, I don't need to fill x and y size (and in fact I don't know what size to fill)
I think "local fSrcX","local fSrcY" and "local fSrcZ"
- the whole object is resized even with "scale also unselected" unchecked.(max 2010 french)
Thanks :-)))
Hope it works D:

hello Sergey yes, it change
hello Sergey
yes, it change bounding box selection.
I think it is not too hard to do for a good programmer, but I know my limits and I even imagine the time that can take to me to do it (if I can do it :-)))
I use it all the time in Lightwave.
It is a Gianni Soldati plugin :http://www.giannisoldati.com/vari/lscript/e_dimension.html
Hope anybody need such a tool too....
Haven't heard about this
Haven't heard about this plugin...
How does it change vertex selection? It changes bounding box dimension?
