Easy box script needed please
Hello, I say "Easy" because from the works I've seen here, you guys are pros compare to me. I know how to install and use Scripts, but not make them.
Please help me with this :
1. I have a mesh/poly (a teapot)
2. I'd like the teapot to be hollow (similiar to Extrude or Bevel)
3. Basically the teapot would be made of boxes. Hollow on inside. Same shape as outside.
I've selected all Vertices and hit the "Break button". Now the Teapot is made of individual faces. I extrude the faces but they are NOT closed, so i add a "Cap holes" modifier.
Once the "Cap holes" modifier is added all the faces are boxes, But i need each box to be snapped together.
By snapped together I mean, that the outer verts are snapped together, all edged "touching but not welded together.
If you guys beed pics or a better description, please ask and in no time I'll post here.
Thank you ALL in advance, for this and for all the great scripts posted throughout the years. :O)

Well, I found a different
Well, I found a different way off doing things.
I now use the "Shell" operator. Its does a better job than "Extrude" or "Bevel" for what I'm doing.
BUT, still have to Select all verts, Then "Break", Then select 2 Polygons and "Bridge" them.
Takes forever though for a single Mesh. Can Anyone please help?
Thanks.
Well here's the pics showing
Well here's the pics showing what steps I have to manually do. Takes A LONG time to "Detach" each face to "Editable Poly/or Mesh".
Also Pic # 8 shows my main problem: I would have to manually "Snap Together: each of those edges.
If someone could please show me a better method or preferably make a Script that would "Extrude" all faces into boxes and keep the Edges "touching or snapped" (not welded together) that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks In Advance Again.
