A helpful script for baking normal maps would be something that allows you to quickly explode multiple parts:
That way you don't get nasty spots on your normal map where parts intersect.
- A slider or some control for how far out the parts explode.
- Either keyable or an on/off toggle so you can revert back to unexploded.
- Ability to add multiple objects to the "explosion" using both a picker and a list view, like the Attach feature in Edit Poly.
- Perhaps a Dispersion Point gizmo that you can move around in case you want to tweak the explosion direction.
