lattice with continuity

Hi all, i would ike to convert triangular mesh into 3d edges with triangular profile

i try tOu use lattice modifier on 3d studio max 2013 but i can't keep the edge continuity

how can i do this

The main problem is you can't weld more then two knots of spline and that's why edge continuity not exist. Try this:
Convert object to poly or assign Edit Poly modifier.
Select all edges and press "Create Shape from selection" button.
Select all knots of extracted shape and press "Weld".
Now assign "Sweep" modifier, change profiles and check "Gen Map Coords" and "Union Intersections"
