Looking for a script that selects thin triangles

I'm looking for a script that will select thin triangles.

By that I mean triangles that have an angle of less than say 4-5 degrees.

This is crucial in terms of game development as some graphics cards eliminate the drawing of these triangles because they are too thin. So in order to fix the problem, you either have to go over your model manually and try to eliminate bad triangle angles, or let a script select them for you.

Has anyone ever tried creating a script like this? Is there one out there I am not aware of?

hi Semus, sounds interesting.

hi Semus,

sounds interesting. i did some reading and come up with a little script that could be a bit buggy but did the job with a small test scene with a collapsed editable mesh object in max2011 x64.

hope this helps.
