Drupal info
When i saw the new scriptspot site i got very impresed.
I have been looking into a CMS solution for my ultimate frisbee club www.flyingcircus.dk
Right now we use a very old solution and that is why we want to find something new.
Drupal looks like its a solid choice. But i am not as much a web wizard as i would like and hoped the creators of this site could give me some pointers in this forum thread.
My first question:
What is this wysiwyg editor i use for writing this post called?
I hope i dont step on anyones toes by asking some questions here.
Thanks
Stephen

No problem at all. On the contrary, if someone wants to listen I'm more than happy to tell stories... lol...
ScriptSpot uses a combination of the TinyMCE editor and the IMCE / Image modules which add the image upload functionality. You might not have noticed but not all images have to be hosted. When you click the insert image button, there is another button on the upper right which pops up this image browser window. Its pretty cool and its set to resize any pics to a maximum of 660 x 1000 or so (the maximum which would reasonably fit in the UI)...
Drupal is a great choice as a CMS as it has strong underpinnings and (I'm told) as really nice to develop custom modules for (most of the functionality of ScriptSpot is custom modules (plugins / scripts / news / tutorials) but the stock drupal allows for things like pages / stories / blogs / books (sorta like a wiki) ...
From what your site sounds like you might honestly want to look at Wordpress (gorgeous, certainly blog centric, www.wordpress.com) as its really easy to use out of the box. My second choice for SS would probably have been joomla (www.joomla.org) as it also looks really nice out of the box.
Ultimately I chose drupal and am happy I did. Other notable high end sites that use drupal include the onion and twit.tv
