There are now two new ways to search for ScriptSpot or SketchUp related content via a google CSE (custom search engine). A CSE allows for the creation of a search engine that searches only certain sites. So, there are currently two CSE's - one that searches only scriptspot.com and another that searches a series of SketchUp related

Just a reminder to refresh your browsers. This weekend brought some UI enhancements / improvements - enjoy!

SketchUcation is a reference site with videoclips where you can click any Tool, Panel or Menu Command and directly see what its function is in SketchUp. Next to referencing the Tools, Panels and Menu Commands, SketchUcation provides tutorials that cover a broad range of uses in generic modeling practices, teaching how to combine tools for more in-depth use of the software.

School is a great resource for learning SketchUp. Try their podcasts covering tips, tricks, and applications for a variety of professions, or check out their interactive DVD, SketchUp Level One. The DVD covers the basics, but that should not deter self proclaimed SketchUp masters because School provides a 100% guarantee that the DVD will teach even the experienced user some new tricks. School is the place to go to connect with other interested users, discuss SketchUp related topics, and post questions. If you post a question in the School forums, then you might wind up being the topic of one of their weekly podcasts.

I'm looking for some volunteers to help foster the ScriptSpot community in a few key areas:

FF&E (Furniture Fixtures and Equipment) is not for everyone.

It is an Applications development Kit which lets you create SketchUp component placement and reporting applications for yourself, your company, your clients or your distributors.

RPC Objects are 2D and 3D contentdistributed by ArchVision.

Now using IRender, you can add components to your SketchUp model which will render in IRender Plus with the full detail available from RPC Objects.
