This script will create a point at the center of a selection of verts. If only one vert is selected then the point will be created at that vertex.

Use this script to create a point at the selected object(s) center then link that object(s) to the newly created point.

Use this script to pick points on the surface of a mesh then place a point on the surface of that mesh - at each picked point - with an attachment controller.
