Here is a script I wrote to turn on cropping for all bitmaps - usage is pretty simple - you can apply it to a mat library - scene mats - selected object's mats or materials in the ME. Checking 'Reset UVWH' will reset the UVWH cropping dimensions only on materials that do not already have cropping applied.

Monitors bitmaps files in materials applied to a selection of objects. Looks for changes to each files date properties and updates maps accordingly. useful for texturing.
Wouldn't it be good if you could use your favourite UV layout on that new model your building - yes it would! Thats why we now have 'Mapthief'. A small util that allows you to use the unwrap information from another object and project it on to a new one.
Takes your selected objects and selects any objects among them that do not have a UVW mapping modifier present. Useful for finding objects that may require mapping coordinates in order to render. Will only select geometry - not lights or helper - etc. Written for Flappy.
