Create Reference planes from a .psd

- My first script, so all crits are very welcome!
- Run this script to create up to six reference planes (front, back, top, bottom, left, right) from a layered .psd file.

- To use:
1. Run script in max
2. Select .psd file (note this only works with photoshop files)
3. Select the height (in current file units) that you want for the reference 'box' - all other dimensions will be determined from the image aspect ratio.

Universal Transform has Alot of Featuers for Moving Rotating Scaling Randomizing Scattering Objects and Working with Pivot and Working Pivot and More .

The Script has 5 Modes (Move, Rotate, Scale, Pivot, Random) . and 3 Type of Auto Switching to Switch Between Them (to not Get Confussed) .

The 3 Auto Modes is (Auto T, Auto D, and The MacroScript (Universal Transform - Auto Switch)) .

- it has 3 Options :

1- By Spinners or (Type-in) .

miauu's Extended Clone Tool adds new options to the standard Clone Options dialog.

The main goal - save time using these features:

- move the created objects to a new layer,

- move the created objects into existing layer

Preset the Max Scene

This script will:
- Drag the *.mcr filWhat it will do:
- reset your Max Scene
- set your units to centimeter
- creates a referencebox with flatten UV Unwrap
- creates a new layer for the referencebox (to hide it easily by layer)
- freeze the box
- show frozen in grey = off
- asigns a material to the box
- asigns a texture to the materials diffuse slot
- shows the material in viewport
- Maximize Viewport
- Zoom Extents
- View Edged Faces
- Show Statistics

Reference Manager

no more headaches unfreezing and unhiding refplanes manually
the RefManager does it for you and lets you focus on the modelling

A reference manager that automatic hides and shows reference planes based on the current viewport

by default it uses the following names, but you can click on >> to get acces to the pick buttons and pick your own reference planes

ref_top
ref_front
ref_back
ref_left
ref_right
ref_top
ref_bot

plans for next version : add refsetup: auto creates planes in correct size based o nthe resolution of the images
