3DS Max [Plugin Update] Multiple Sections v1.5

In this version, I added the ability to clean the sections of unnecessary vertices. This feature works with the sections created by this plugin, and you can also use it with splines in the scene. Please watch this video to the end to learn about this new addition.

Autodesk Material Converter - obsolete

The Autodesk Material Converter is a commercial script for all 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design users starting from release 2011 and up who need optimized materials for mental ray, V-Ray or VR applications. With one click all Autodesk Material Library materials are converted into Arch & Design or V-Ray materials. Conversion to Standard materials takes only two clicks

The major adavantage will be an increase in rendering speed (on average 35%) plus it will give you the flexibility you need for your material fine tuning. and of course you don't want to manually convert materials which are coming in from AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor into 3ds Max (Design)

Most VR applications need Standard materials to work with. The conversion to Standard works from Arch & Design or Vray materials

In addition to material conversion the script checks if there are double materials inside the scene. If they are there, they will be changed into instances, keeping the number of materials as low as can be.

  • conversion of all Autodesk maps
  • conversion of some V-Ray specific maps or MentalRay specific maps

Batch Detach Selected Polygons

This script will help the user to detach a large number of polygons into individual objects in one click.

The script will be available if one object only is selected, and this Object has to be from the geometry family.

Note: The script doesn't work on Editable Patch objects

Boujou2max plug-in poster

Boujou2max imports raw markers from Boujou as an animated cubes or dummies. This is a good solution for raw motion tracking without camera solve.

EasyDefectSubmission

This script pre-fills the Autodesk Defect Submission form with your user data. This makes it quicker to submit bugs by eliminating the process of entering all your details again and again..

After installation you can report bugs to Autodesk straight from within 3dsMax.

The user data is 'hard coded' in the script but easy to adjust even for non programmers.
