WkSequenceManager

"The purpose of this script is to facilitate the use of several cameras in a scene. For every part of the animation to be rendered - we associate a sequence - which is defined by a name - a time range - a camera - an index and a path to save the corresponding rendered frames.

RT Camera Editor

"This here is a script for editing cameracuts realtime in max. I know there are a few out there but this works a little bit differently. As it is also written for in-house production there are some known whatnot to do's. The cwi_rt_edit_2_res.mcr simply resets any (i hope...) errors rt edit has caused. Use at own risk...
Written for r3.1 and not tested on r4."

"A number of camera people have noticed that max cameras' focal length has a lower limit of 9.857mm. Strange. huh? Well. Here's a little script that works around that."

TerraCamOut

This exports a max camera to a terragen script. The interface has some information about how to use it. (After you render your terragen sequence with this - you can re-project the renders in max onto your imported terragen mesh and render motion blur.)

Camera Orbit

This script automatically creates a camera that will orbit the selected objects. The distance of the camera is calcualated based on the size of the selected objects so that they will always fit the screen. This tool is great for creating demo reel renders of models and animations.

"creates a camera that simulates the slight shake of a handheld camera. you can see the effect here. in max - switch to perspective mode and align your viewport how you want it & click the button (or shortcut or quad) & the camera will automatically align itself to the view and the viewport will switch to camera view."

when i animate - i like to setup a bunch of static cameras around the character so i can view the animation from several preset angles. i wrote this script to remap the c hotkey to - so now the key acts as a toggle instead of forcing you to go to persp mode and select another camera from a list. works with a mix of target and free cameras.

Red&Cyan Octane Tools

What do they do?

- Create free Octane cam:

Obviously creates a free octane cam. You can decide wether you want to use a focus plane or not.
the focus plane affects the focal depth and vice versa.

- Create octane cam from view:

Works exactly as the usual "create camera from view".
You can also add a focus plane, wich is linked to the focalDepth.

- Replace with octane cam:

Select the camera/s that you want to replace and run the script. for each selected camera an octane cam will be created.
