Design Toolbox is a collection of tools designed to accelerate and simplify basic modeling tasks of  architectural, urban or interior scenes tools: Standard transformations by reference, like the ones usually found in more precise work oriented applications; Fast measurements, speed up positioning of reference coordinates and workplanes. It also includes some other useful tools for quickly apply and manipulate uvw maps, for paneling simple surfaces; plus some others useful time saver tools.

DesignToolBox is packed with our previous tool, refGuides:

refGuides includes a set of tools intended to improve and facilitate accurate modeling, particularly helpful for modeling architectural scenes. This tools allows to create construction lines guides, for accurately position and model objects. They can also be used as rulers, displaying measurement units in the viewport. Other great added feature is the ability to snap to intersection points.

This version includes several fixes and improvements, along with some new tools and functionality, for example, orthogonal tracking has been implemented in scale, redimension and measure tools. read the changelog to see the major changes. Delete Faces Modifier

The DeleteFaces modifier allows you to delete faces on a mesh without having to add topology dependent modifiers like Poly Select.

V2 is now a compiled C++ plugin for Max 2015-2017.

Weld Autosmooth

Overall functionality and advantages

  • The script welds separated vertices and later autosmooths the faces if it's needed
  • It is very useful when you have imported the file that was generated in other software and the vertices are somehow separated
  • You can use these two actions (welding and autosmoothing) together or separately
  • Saves time when you have a lot of objects that need welding and later autosmoothing
  • The script can work on entire scene or just the selection

Rattle 1.0 is a script for Autodesk 3ds Max to manage noise in different ways in your scene and animations.

Slicemodeller-Script V1.0

Take a look at our little script, which we gave birth to recently. The whole idea came up when we had to model some 100% planar-cut bodies, which is a task 3ds-Max is actually not too good at. Our tool should be quite useful for various technical stuff, crystalline objects or freeform-concrete-shapes (for our architectural friends out there).

scripted in Max 2011, should work on previous versions as well

Simple Script that do incremental face extrusion (useful to create stairs for example)

# Installation:

1-extract files

2-copy Stair Extruder.mse to 3dsmax\script folder

3-copy StairExtruderMacro.ms to 3dsmax\script\startup folder

4-restart 3ds max or run StairExtruderMacro.ms from script menu run.

5-add it to ur desired UI (menu,quad,toolbar...)
