I'm getting pretty fastidious about how I'm working and I think this script kind of proves it. I didn't want to scale dummies with 'affect object' (did I say I was getting fastidious?) and I got tired of typing '$.boxsize' so I wrote this script (my first ever written from scratch!). Very simple. Does what it says on the tin.

quick create primitives

creates a primitive at the origin - without having to drag your mouse. A bit Mayaish. :)

place dummys

Places a new dummy at the center of all selected object - with rotation and position.

Spherical

Using geospheres it creates fractal looking object. Just check examples below and everything will become clear. I don't recomed seting level to value higher than 5 on slower machines. I've had an oportunity to test this script on dual PIII 1GHz and it took few minutes to create complete mesh of level 6. Large arrays are simply too much for MAX Script to handle.

Use this script to create a snapshot of an object then bind the snapshot to the original object.

This utility converts a bitmap to grayscale and displays its pixels as planes. The planes are rotated depending on their grayscale value. There is a option to animate the rotation to fade in the image.

Replace Objects Script

This script can automatically replase specified objects in scene (each of them) to another object. Replaceable objects should have a similar names, for example: Box001, Box002, Box003... etc.
Run script, and with button "Old" pick one of the objects, which you want to replace. Other simillar objects will be append automatically, based on their name. Then with button "New" pick an object, which will replace previously selected objects. Push a button "Run",
