A scripted-plugin primitive to create obelisks.
Put the file in MaxRoot\Scripts\StartUp and run Max.
You may find the new object under "Extended Primitives" tab

Script make simple rhombic prism. There's ability to change width, length, height, taper scale, number of height segments. Also provided "Generate Mapping Coords" checkbox.

Step Pyramid

A Step-Pyramid extended primitive.

Installation:
Put the file in MaxRoot\Scripts\ and run it through MainMenu->MaxScript->Run Script
or put the file in MaxRoot\Scripts\StartUp and run Max.

v0.2:

  • Redesign UI.
  • Add function to copy/paste modifiers.
  • Default path now is in autoback (getdir #autoback).

 Small help box available by shift clicking [+] button.

Script makes fixed window with horiz-vert dividers grid, board and sill. Any part of window can switch on/off, so you can easily change it.
