This script allows you to collapse changes to an object but maintain the morpher modifiers with its data intact.

Its idea is to activate every single target 100% ,copy the mesh ,collapse then finally add all targets again, it also work with progressive morph targets.

Works on single objects and only one morpher modifier.

Here s my first contribution script , it is pretty similar to many existing scripts over here used in connecting morphs to UI ,but it deserves a trial , it is weel production proven for 2 yrs so far .

FACEENGINE TUTORIAL

To run the facial script :

1- Un-rar the "faceengine.rar" into your 3ds max programm folder.
for example ,

c:\program files\3ds max\faceengine

2-in 3ds max environment , run the "vertex recorder" script, if you have problems like " runtime error ..." , you need to run "3ds max.exe" as administrator , and re-run this script

3-With first button , select your 3d head model

4-With second button , select the vertices one by one according
to the visual quide on script window ( red dot on the quide model ) ,

 A script to load and save animated morph data

For many years, I have used the same system to deal with lipsync within production, and it is with great pleasure that I release it to the community now. This script will take a character that uses a morph modifier for lipsync and save the data to XML. This can then be re-applied at a later stage.

Facial Animation Rig

Create a complete head rig, with facial animation controls as recommended by Jason Osipa in his book 'Stop Staring'. Starting just with a head mesh, create bones for jaw, head,neck and eyelids. Also create a couple of spline controls for the eyes and the chin. Running the 'eyerig' script creates a rollout with pick buttons for all needed bones and meshes, then sets up the eye and head rigs, as well as placing a skin modifier on the mesh, with the required bones added, ready for vertex weighting. The rig also caters for 'fleshy eyelids' that move with the eye.
