Is there any actual script to make this?

Hi guys, I found this script and is all I need.
Uv to mesh
A bit like UVW Unwrap - but allows you to use any modifier to edit the UV's.

But I can´t install (requires jbfunctions and I don't found them and seems very old. I use max 2011. Any script to translate uv to mesh and viceversa?

The Channel Info utility

The Channel Info utility (Utilities panel > More...) might be what you want. You can copy/paste mesh infos between all channels, including geometry.

Solved

Well, I have solved in this way
Run uvwxyzswap script
Select all polys and make planar Z
Convert to edit mesh
Convert to edit poly
Run uvwxyzswap script and now all work fine with a 2d flattened version of your uvw
If possible modify script to make it automatically?
I have no idea of scripting :( sorry

Please, try uvwxyzswap script with this sphere. What happend? Why the xyz is not flattened?
