Upcoming change to forum url / paths

I recently realized the forum structure was setup incorrectly. Instead of General / 3dsmax it should be 3dsmax / General... That will allow for more room to grow with additional forum areas like Freelance scripters or a Scripts Wanted section.

In order to find the Max version of a
script do I need to drill down to each script detail page to get that
info?

After a search for a script, How do I

Hello,

When I paste my maxscript code on the forum, the spaces (TABs) are lost.
I don't know if it exist now a way to avoid this ?

It is also possible that i didn't find the feature :-)

Site speed - log out for a faster experience

This isn't a long term solution, but ScriptSpot delivers cache'd pages to logged out visitors instead of doing tons of database queries when a user is logged in. So, if you're frustrated about the speed, try logging out, you should get your pages in a fraction of a second then.

Forum organization

I think the forum could be organized in a way that is more consistent with the rest of the site.

Right now you have sections named 'General Scripting" and "Off Topic".

It would be better to have sections named "3ds max" and SketchUp" and have the "forums" links go to an overview of these sections, instead of to a single forum.

Some Bugs ?

First congratulation for the great work : Scriptspot looks very great even it's a little slower to load.

I'd like to point to some bugs i saw :

1. some of the script's name are followed by NULL... which i don't understand...

2. In the "Orange" Menu list there are some problem to :

load last scene by date

I just gave myself a point for my own script upload. Not really a big deal, I suppose. Might be a bug or feature depending on your point of view.

Status update - Feb 2015 downtime

Quick status update on the downtime experienced in the past day. ScriptSpot was apparrently the victim of a DDOS style attack. There will be further updates done Friday to minimize chances of this happening again.
