rigHelp will help you with the creation of a rig for your 3D character. A rig is a setup to make the animation of a 3D character easier. The rigHelp script uses standard 3dsmax features. You can share your rigged character with other 3dsmax user without the need of plug-ins.

Rotate Chain

"Allows you to select multiple objects in a group of linked objects (e.g. - all of the bones of a finger) - and rotate all of the items at the same time. If you tried this in Max using the built-in rotate - you'd find that only the top most object (i.e. - the one that is the parent of all of the other objects) would rotate.

Santa Mirror Morph

Help you to create mirror morph target like left sneer to right sneer etc.After using default mirror tool you cannot use the model as morph target. You can use this script to mirror the morph targets ( basically for creating left eye brow up right eyebrow up etc.) Copy the target what you want to mirror. pick the head and copied target object. click the mirror button to create mirror morph.

Select Next-Previous Bone

Right now you can use the Page UP and Page Down keys to go up and down a heirarchy in Max. You can also set up hotkeys to navigate up and down the envelopes within Skin. You CAN'T use the same hotkeys for both - until now.

Unfortunately Character Studio does not give the user the ability to create shortcuts to some of the most useful tools it has to offer. This script detects which Biped bones are selected and then mirrors the selection i.e. left arm to right arm. This script supports multiple selections of bones and unlike Character Studio - it can be run on combinations of bipedal and regular bones.

Select any part of a biped and run the script - it now selects the biped's root.
