MaxGrass

MaxGrass is a MaxScript for creating realistic grass and vegetation in 3ds Max, in a single click. The script also animates the grass/vegetation growth which looks completely natural.

No plugins of any kind are needed. It does not use hair or particles, it creates real geometry, so that you get total control on each blade or leaf and the results are ideal for close up shots. Several parameters have been provided to get an infinite variety.

Poly Stitch tools

       The Stitch tools  work on editable polyon object ,and create new faces between selected open edges(borders),which are mainly used to connect roads and terrain.

      In this update,stitch algorithm has been improved and enhanced,error probability is reduced greatly,no longer need to clear jags of borders but final triangluation is much better.

PlaceMesh:

Directly embed single-side polygon in terrain.

The tool work on Editable polygon objects. Keep terrain being selected and pick another polygon surfaces is OK.

Slope Analysis

This script will analyse the slope of different regions of an object such as a terrain by computing the angle between the face normal and a specified vector direction (default: z-axis). You can adjust the displayed colour ranges by changing the range min and max values as well as the steps between the colours. The script uses a multilateral to assign different material IDs to each face based on its angle calculation.

This script generates procedural random shaped rocks both low poly and highpoly.
Lowpoly mesh matches perfectly with highpoly mesh so you can easily bake normal map from highpoly to lowpoly.
Lowpoly mesh is automatic relaxed uvw mapped.
Lowpoly mesh uvs are bake ready.
Lowpoly mesh has clear non-overlapping uvs.
You can change advanced parameters or you can simply click "random seed" then click "generate detailed rock" it will give totally different results.
