Render Tip - Balancing Interior and Exterior Lighting in SketchUp

How do I balance interior and exterior lighting?

Balancing interior and exterior lighting in SketchUp is a challenge many 3D designers face. The question of how to do it recently popped up in our IRender nXt forum so we decided to cover it here.

Free Raylectron SketchyMesh plugin.

Create terrain and shapes from a grid using formulas in the form of z=f(x,y), very easy to use.

SketchyMesh is an easy terrain and shape builder. It is based on the formula z=f(x,y) for a grid where you enter your own ruby formula using x and y. You can download it from http://Raylectron.com it is free with source code but is (c)2012 SoftByte Labs Inc.

Isolate Selection

This is script is based on invert selection written by TIG, I just add a little function to hide selection.

Installation n using :

1. Put the script in the sketchup plugins directory (ex : C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins)

2. Restart the sketchup if it ran, fire up sketch and select any object, you'll find it in right click menu.

3. just right click, invert selection

4. To unhide all object, just using unhide all/last from sketch up function, you know how to do it right ?

Best regard
