Maxwell Light Lister is a lights manager for 3ds Max in which you can change most of the significant parameters for the lights of the scene. The original creator, Eric Mehl, developed a script that allows the possibility of listing 3ds Max native lights and also lights from Maxwell Render.

Default Lights

This script will switch between the default lights, that's available through the "Create" menu, and any other light setup that's in the scene.

Just drag and drop into 3ds max. The script can accessed be under the "Toke Scripts" category.

Area Light

This script is basically just a way for me to remove some of the time it take for me to do them manually. Its very simple right now - but I hope to expand on it as time goes by. It basically just lets you create and manage an 'array' of lights very simply. Resolution of the light is set with the amount of segments on the plane.

KeepVrayLightIntensity

Works only (for now) with VrayLight Type:Plane.
Set the Vraylight half-length and half-width of the plane and the multiplier will be set automaticly to preserve the VrayLight intensity.

Domelight

Allows you to light your scene using information from a bitmap. The wholes scene is surrounded by a hemisphere of light - each light getting it's colour and brightness information from the bitmap. It gives your renders a radiosity like look for next to no cost.

ERCO Lightcontrol

ERCO Lightcontrol is aimed on streamlining the setup - overview and animation for higher numbers of lights. Lights are grouped in 'curcuits' - mixing ls-lights - omnis and spot in one curcuit-group is possible. Groups can be dimmed intuitively and stored/recalled as 'scenes'.
