LightRigger is a free Maxscript-based, draft-quality Global Illumination lighting system for the 3ds max Default Scanline Renderer.  It is based on the well known "old-school" principle of a light dome, but LightRigger takes the concept much further.

Virtual GI

This little script, allows to simulate the Global Illumination outside.
Simply, a light sphere is created about to an object selected to simulate the bounce of the ray in the object.
Used for a little job, it was very useful to preview some short animations in "Virtual GI" using the render Scanline engine with very short times for the rendering! Optimum to illuminate integer scenes outdoor with a hot and suffused light.

Simply, a light sphere is created about to an object selected to simulate the bounce of the ray in the object.
VGI is very useful to preview some short animations in "Virtual GI" using not only the render Scanline but Mental Ray engine with very short times for the rendering! Optimum to illuminate integer scenes outdoor with a hot and suffused light.

If you got any feature requests, problems or anything else regarding this script or another one I wrote, don't hesitate to contact me!

I am not responsible for any damage caused by this or any other of my scripts to your scene, software, computer or cat/dog/wife!

What this macroscript does:
It will let you link lights to objects or vice versa so that the according light only influences the chosen geometry.
Use it just like the normal "Select and Link"-Tool of 3ds max.
