still learning ...
im to lazy to go to render setup (F10) and scroll down to assign renderer so i make this script to change renderer for just click. for this time it just for scanline, mentalray and vray, for vray you have to install the vray plugin first.

*Allows you to solve this bug .
*Also allows you avoid Biped & Render Preset bug which returned since max 9 sp1 which was fixed. ( Using Render Presets on a file where a biped was present and motion mixer contains clips would result in a corrupt file when saved. (max 2011 x64 sp1) )

For people who work often with Objects ID, this script may make it easier. It allows you to see which objects have ID, to select objects by ID, assign a ID and all this without entering in properties of the objects.

This is a free Renderman exporter for 3DSMax. It enables you to render your scenes using any Renderman complient renderer. For now - it doesn't do very much. It is after all a first alpha version - but it is usable to some extent. It exports you camera - lights and geometry (currenty - all geometry is exported using either polygons or subdivision meshes.) It does not export particles - though I would like to add them at some point. A lot of max attributes are not supported yet.
