PSD2Mat is a production proven connection between Adobe PhotoShop® and
Autodesk 3D Studio MAX®. This maxscript converts layered PSD Files into
a Scanline or VRay, Brazil and Mental Ray Material. Named layers are converted to bitmapfiles
and assigned to their respective material slots.

Matlib Render

Matlib Render is a simple Script which allows you to Render a Matlib (each Material that the lib contains) into a small HTML Gallery (Thumbs).

It is configurable (a little bit) and has some nice features (own Renderpreset, user sized Image Output .... )

Test it and see for yourself.

This is my first Max Script ....... :)

Neon is a material plugin that converts any object to a lightsource. It works with the radiosity engine built into VIZ4/max5 or higher.

This tool generates a MultiSubMaterial with a random colored standard material for every materialID of the selected object.
Select a object and press 'generate material' to generate the MultiSubMaterial.
'shuffle colors' reassigns new random colors to the MutlSubMaterial of the selected object.

Scene Materials Browser

This maxscript is a tool to manage materials. You can browse the tree material and get quickly some informations about the material : name, material type, bitmaps etc.

The tree material is updated when a new scene is loaded or reseted. Also, the user is informed when a bitmap is reloaded.
