A 3ds max 4 version of the R3 script (which used to be a RCmenu).
Select a single geometry object, click button, pick a normal on the surface of the object by clicking and holding the mouse, release mouse to set view. NOTE: Does not work as Action Item for QuadMenus yet. (Bug in MouseTrack?)

MaxScript Variable Monitor

MaxScript Variable Monitor allows you to keep an eye on the value of MaxScript variables in a resizable floater. The MacroScript uses a ListCtrl ActiveX control. so you must have 3DSMax 4 and Microsoft Office installed on your machine for it to work. This tool is only useful for people who write and debug scripts.

    Creates a list of various scene properties - to show what parts of the scene the animator may wish to optimize - like shadow maps that don't need to be as big - or uncollapsed modifier stacks that are too deep - etc.

    "Many new selectioncommander-commands are available now. the commands.txt is in v6.2 and there are ca 140command-presets available. the selectioncommander is a script which manage and interpretates simple maxscript-like commands from the commands.txt. the command will be executed (if possible) for all selected objects...but you can also define commands which run without selected objects.

    (it's a badger - get it?) one of the most important features of photoshop is to batch process a whole bunch of files at once with a pre-made action.
