"Layer Bar extends 3dsmax 5's layer system and simplifying its ui at the same time. Give this tool a try if you dont like the dropwdown interface. Features:

  • Dockable screen width bar to effectively manage scene object without consuming screen space.
  • One click operation to hide/unhide - lock/unlock - as well as multiple layer hiding/locking.
  • Extended operation via right click menu such as rename - multiple layer locking/hiding tool - change layer color - layer assignment - layer properties etc.
  • Hotkeys and easy-to-customize right-click menu for a more effective workflow.
