VA Mesh Conform

VA mesh conform

Well mesh conform is not someting new to 3dsmax but what if it was much more faster and responsive compared to the legacy one with straight forward parameters and options to tweak.

I created this modifier using MCG, it has all sort of options you might want such as:

- Projection direction: world axis or source object normals.

Polar Array Modifier

A simple polar array modifier with additional controls like Z axis (world) rotation, X, Y and Z offset (world). Z offset is gradual. P.S. X-form needs to be reset in order for this to work correctly.

  • Works on tris/quads/n-gones.

Update: Version 2

VA CloneOnCurve

6 votes

An extended version of the (AClone on curve) modifier that ships with 3ds max, this one adds the ability to read multiple curves per shape and distribute the clones based on the size of the mesh.

Update 1.1:

The new update brings the ability to control the number of clones incrementally, and if you edited the first point in your shape you can control were the clones start to appear of finish.

This MCG modifier allows you to create a looping mesh animation by referencing a duplicate of the mesh and the modifer will use this copy to blend the mesh back to the first frame by the end of the animation.

SpinScatter

BUR_SpinScatter is an object clone modifier that creates clones of the underlying object using an offset value and a rotation angle to create naturalistic patterns i.e. sunflower, sea anemone, etc. You can push the tool pretty far to create a wide variety of effects and all of the settings can be animated.

The graph also contains notes on how everything works.
