In this video, we will solve the problem of procedural maps display,
As you may know, most procedural maps, like Dent, Noise, Cellular, etc,... they display differently in the viewport than they do in the sample slots and, also, differently than they display in the renderings. You'll end up with 3 different versions of the maps display. And you find yourself changing the parameters, like Size, for example, lots of times and for each change, you need to do a test render, which is time-consuming and frustrating. In this video, you will learn how to match the display in the viewport with that of the sample slot, and with the rendered image, so you know just by looking at the viewport how the material will show up in the rendering.

Application Version:
3DS Max 2018
