a script I made because I really wanted to create a model turn that would be flexable and easy. Also I got sick of creating one manually. So here you go.

Shader Wiring Tool

This tool could quickly connect from your max UI elements to dx material shader parameters. example: you can use 3ds max environment ambient color to control dx material ambient color. I showed this during GDC2007 which lots people interested and want get this script. here it is.

Camera Animator

This script creates a new animated camera that animates along the scene cameras. Every position and rotation is stored in an animation key. It lets you render a number of cameras without making numerous network renderjobs or having to set up the video post every time.

I am currently working on a chapter
on how to handle complex [procedural] materials inside 3dsmax. It will
be accompanied by sample tools to demonstrate methods and aproaches.
This is one of them. A tool to manipulate the tiling of nested maps.

Rotate Tools

Compact dialog for simple preset rotations.

Has a type in for amount of degrees to rotate

buttons to rotate left or right.

Rotations are around the currently active axis. If there are multiple axis' selected, it will default to rotating around the Z axis

Pulldown of preset values to rotate (1,5,15,30,etc...)

This is a script that generates so called 'lorenz attractors'. After creating a system you can modify it with the spinners and the startingPoint ($LorenzStartPoint).

This utility converts a bitmap to grayscale and displays its pixels as planes. The planes are rotated depending on their grayscale value. There is a option to animate the rotation to fade in the image.
