3dsMax Script for Converting Complex Map to 1 Bitmap

The Results is not Very Accurate because of replacing some maps like Falloff (with its submap or color correction)

* This Kind of Maps "Like Falloff" should not be rendered with RenderMap .

So It is intended to be used for exporting purposes .

-The 3 EditText Fields are (Exclude Classes, Replace Classes, Reference Classes) .

- Sometimes you need to run it more than once and do convert (May I fix this in future) .

3rd version of Project Manager gains a lot of new features to manage 3D Assets.
There is most unique from them – the ability to assign custom previews to materials, associate files with materials, and create a gallery of files associated with any type of assets including materials.
You can also write a description for material and, of course, assign categories to materials.

New Features:
    • Introduces a new caching system for preview images, allowing more assets to be displayed in Listview
    • Optimizes the display of a large number of assets in Listview
    • Adds the ability to specify custom directories for preview search using the "Auto-Assign Preview" tool
    • Adds buttons to the panel on the Asset Tracking tab: "Show/Hide Map in Viewport," "Mass Rename Items," and "Mass Convert Images."

    • Provides the ability to show a map in the viewport for scene-materials
    • Speeds up mass-rename/move operations for assets
Optimizations and Resolutions:
    • Decreases memory usage
    • Provides additional options to optimize the database, including "Optimize," "Remove Missing Directories," and "Remove Missing Directories & Files."

Raytrace Map Remover

A simple script to remove the raytrace maps (Actually - replace them with empty bitmaps) from the scene's material library. This is for people using Vray/Mental ray as raytrace maps may (and will) slow down rendering times considerably

Relink Assets

38 votes

Hi this is my version of a tool for relinking (missing) bitmaps which can not be found for whatever reasons (changed paths, moved files etc.). It is pretty straightforward and works with almost any type of asset (maps, HDRIs, IES files) as long as it can be referenced and seen in the asset browser. Due to copyright restrictions I can not publish the code right now but I hope that it can help you anyways until max itself has a better management for assets.
