Mesh Foot is a 3DS Max plugin that allows you to seamlessly integrate exported .3DS or .OBJ mesh sequences into existing scenes without re-animating - re-boning - or re-skinning anything.
Works just like the meshsmooth script - except this on will turn on the meshsmooth option on a EditablePoly - so that you can work and simply toggle the smoothing off'n'on whenever you like. It will set it's default Itterations to view:1 and render:2.
This one assigns a meshsmooth modifier to your stack and sets view Itt. to 1 and render Itt. to 3. Now that's a simple script - BUT - this one returns to the subobject mode you worked in - for example vertice mode. So when you bind this to a shortcut (I have alt+' ) - you never have to leave your subobject mode - to toggle meshsmooth... wow :)
"This one requires a setup and a bit knowlegde of script - you have to edit the script in order to get work - simply find out wich CUI you use and type that one where it says YOURCUIFILEHERE... can't miss :).
It tells you how much n-sided poly's you have - and let you select all 3 sided or all 4 sided poly's - or do a subtraction of - let's say - all 3 sided poly's. Works okay - but needs a algoritme - it's slow on big meshes... Based on Bobo's code and LightWave's interface
Initially, this a only script to assist making tight cloth for character of with editablepoly.
But perhaps this can assist to make the other model. ^^
Handy to create twin faces from selection of polygons to becoming raw model or maybe final model.
" full replacement for the cumbersome and irritating interface of the shipping finalRender material. Cebas used part of this design (the locals rollout) in their patch releases without credit - which I guess is a backhanded compliment. It has the following features:
