MCG GetQuadInfo

This is a generic compound so people can call it and make use of it in their MCG. To simplify things, this assumes your mesh is pure quads (it would still work if it has tris in it, as can be seen in my ParseQuads MCG, however there can be no guarantee if it 'looks' right if you have a random mish mash of tris/quads) So because it is a compound, you can't 'install' it so I've supplied here a dummy MCG to clone on quads, those who know the rename to zip trick then drag/drop...just do so otherwise install the MCG to get the compound Vu_GetQuadInfo.

MCG CylXGrid

This MCG creates Spline Grid/XGrid pattern that is a seamless cylinder. You are welcome to use my free XGrid which is much harder to do...it can be found here:

However, this MCG saves you doing manual welding after you've bent it into a cylinder. This is easy to do if you can study my XGrid graph...I encourage you to do it yourself.

MCG Parse Quads

This extremely simple MCG will parse though the quads (or tris) of your geometry. You can parse 1 face/quad at a time or grow from the start.

Another one for you mographers I think...(will work on a closed curve too, ie. text)

Ver 1.01.00: Added Reverse option. Reverse Grow however is not working. I'm trying to fix it.

Ver 1.02.00: Reverse Grow now works properly.

SpeedVisualiser: to see how fast an object should move at a certain speed

SpeedHUD: displays an object's current speed

Trajectory: displays an object's trajectory + Speed

Will work independently of framerate...ie NTSC, PAL or others

MCG AccumFloat

This Float controller accumulates value over the animation duration. It can also be used as 'memory' in High/LowWatermark.

This MCG creates simple Gear geometry. It is not very nice since MCG does not have a Bevel or Face Extrude op...I'm simply showing the fiddly things I had to do to 'fake' this...my pain, your gain...

It is to be found in Create Panel, Vu Category.
