MCG Path Constraint a.k.a IncrCloneOnCurve

This MCG constraints your object motion to a path. The motion can be repeated forever beyond the curve.

It can also be used to incrementally clone object along a curve and there is no need to adjust the distance

between the clones and count when length of curve changes.

 

Ver 1.01.00: You can now use a curve to control scaling of the clones.

MCG FFS

 Installation: Scripting, Install Max Creation Graph...

Max2017 should work straightaway, for max2016 ensure you have SP3 properly applied then Extension2 (maybe 1 would work too...can't be sure)

FFS...Floor Flux Sake !!! I empower you to take the Red pill or Blue pill....go into the graph and choose your destiny on the far right...Fastest compile time could be a second (Blue pills) or slowest (Red pills), with all functionalities, up to 15 secs !!! But once you've compiled the graph, it should be pretty quick.

MCG Parse Quads

This extremely simple MCG will parse though the quads (or tris) of your geometry. You can parse 1 face/quad at a time or grow from the start.

Another one for you mographers I think...(will work on a closed curve too, ie. text)

Ver 1.01.00: Added Reverse option. Reverse Grow however is not working. I'm trying to fix it.

Ver 1.02.00: Reverse Grow now works properly.

MCG Arches

REQUIREMENTS: Max 2016 + SP3 +EXT1/2, Max 2017

Installation: Scripting, Install Max Creation Graph...

Creates various types of arches: Circular, Lancet, Trefoil, Ogee, Reverse Ogee, Inflexed and Horseshoe. Please note that I didn't follow any ancient building codec strictly to the letter...only that the curves are derived from perfect circular segments. Using the Curvature adjustment, you could get other arch types like Parabolic, Elliptical ...etc...

Brick Wall Builder

Brick Wall Builder is a scripted plugin created using 3ds max MCG and as the name tells it creates a various shapes of brick walls with huge amount of flexibility like you can choose multiple kinds of stones and apply a random materials to them in addition to changing the position,rotation and scale uniformly or randomly. It's as simple as just picking the shape and the brick and it will do the rest, and when you are done with distribution you like and thought of changing the shape length do worry also has the ability of maintaining the count and distribution while you are doing so. 

How to install: After downloading and unzipping the file go to Scripting menu and choose Install Max Creation Graph. after installing you will find it in command panel creation tab under VFXarabia category.

MCG Spline Conform

Get your spline to wrap onto a mesh or multi-meshes... Yes it is a bit rough around the edges, so it is what it is...

MCG Magnetic Filaments + DCP Van Gogh

Extract DCP to: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2017 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\DataChannelPreset

After MCG installation, Filaments can be found in Create>Geo>Vu

Added MCG Magnets Advanced: going where DCM couldn't...(if you got my zip file from OneDrive previously, please get latest from here now...it now has Offset so you can get the Swirl effect)

MCG Marching Ants

This MCG allows you to do marching ants, traffic light/direction effects. Note the Count is total in array but you see only every 'Step'. I think there is a bug with closed loop and Even count, so use odd Count for that....and WTF is up with the 90deg angle/rectangle ? Dunno....I'll debug if have time...

MCG Morph To Spline

Latest version 1.04 has support loop but tradeoff is if you morph to less than 100%, the outside edge remains fixed. If you need your orig geo to morph back to itself, please use ver 1.03
