MCG RescaleUV

This MCG will rescale your existing UV (to help someone with export engine workflow).

Please note: if you apply an Unwrap UVW modifier above this to see changes, if you go back down the stack and change Vu_RescaleUV....in the Unwrap UVW you'll have to 'reload' by changing the map channel, it will ask you to Move or Abandon, select Abandon, then you'll see the effect.

MCG StoreMorphs

I honestly don't know how useful this is going to be...but someone might find a use for it. This MCG/script stores the topology of your object in the UV channels of a copy of said object..ie. morph targets. It is a bit clunky as I have to use maxscript to force the MCG to take effect immediately (ie. collapsing the MCG modifier). The only realistic use I see for this is doing a bunch of facial morphs...storing them, then later go back and pick the best few out of them.

Seems people ask for this all the time... mcg is not the best for delta mush implementation at the moment but it is possible, the relax is done as a separate modifier to address issues with speed, and the fact that mcg relax compound doesn't give as good results at the one is the relax modifier in max.

MCG Rings

Rings for the mographers. Based on my VenetianBlind mcg, use this with a Bend to create rings of all sorts. Go nuts !!!

MCG MassVis

This MCG is a bit of a hack. It turns Visibility On/Off en masse. There's no in between !!! Please do NOT collapse this modifier with it Off as your geo will disappear into the singularity of a black hole...no joke...you'll get a SINGLE vert !!! Yes I could have backed it up into some channel easily but...couldn't be bothered... Had a harder time doing a picture for this than the MCG !!! Like, how do you show the invisible man ???

This MCG mimics another vertex animated mesh. You can timewarp to slow/speedup/freeze/reverse the original animation. Clones animations can also be staggered.

Ver 1.01.00: converted align logic to AlignMeshXYZ compound.

Ver 1.02.00: added clones offsets and also random variations of delay.

Note that the distribution is random, not uniform, i.e. some clustering is to be expected. Face size is taken into account, bigger faces may have multiple points while smaller faces none at all. If you want to get face normals together with the point position, use RandomRaysOnMesh compound instead.

 

MCG ClonedPhysics Exposed

The supplied ClonedPhysics MCG didn't allow you to get at any of the physical properties...so how are you going to play with it....well I'll expose them myself...This version exposes all the parameters. It also has a KillBox like KillVol in Realflow or KillPlane in Bifrost...Now you can really play with it...

VA Check if a mesh is inside any other meshes.

Gives true if the tested mesh is in contact with at least one of the meshes in the array.
