MoCapture is the plugin for 3dsMax, that uses video-based technology for motion capture and animation directly inside a 3dsMax. Forget about expensive equipment, sticky markers, endless importing and exporting from and to several 3D programs. With MoCapture, all you need is sit down in front of a webcam, act out the expressions you want to apply to your 3D character and watch it happen in real time within your 3dsMax.

New Re-topology tool: Wrapit

Hello all, I'd thought I'd take this opportunity to demonstrate a new tool I've been developing for 3dsmax 2008 and above.

Wrapit is essentially a tool for conforming meshes to other meshes.
This lends itself to various scenarios such as retopoligising high-res
meshes like those created in Zbrush, mudbox etc and creating low poly
proxies for situations where those are preferable, like collision
detection etc.

Radially - pie menu editor for 3ds Max

Radially is a plugin for 3ds Max that lets you add any actions to a so-called pie menu which you can assign to a certain keyboard shortcut. You can call any 3ds Max actions simply by pressing a shortcut, hovering desired action with your cursor, and then letting go shortcut keys. Very fast and with no mouse clicks!

For those of you that maintain your own dlx with a grab bag of
maxscript extensions (like Larry's avg_dlx), I've attached source for a
function that will launch a dos command in a hidden window. You may
find it useful in your toolbox.

AdvArray

The AdvArray modifier is an advanced parametric array type modifier for Autodesk 3ds Max. Being that 3ds Max does not ship with any sort of parametric array modifier, I’ve programmed this modifier to fill that void as well as add a number of advanced array features not found in 3ds Max by default, and even some that cannot be found in other third party modifiers.
