CRC - Car rig creator
hi,
CRC is a free script for generating car rigs in few clicks.
- few clicks rig creation
- support uneven surface
- supports body, wheels, steering wheel and breaks animation
- i tried to make it as simple as possible
installation: MAXScript->Run Script->install_CRC.mzp then in toolbars search for Frodo's Magic Bag->Car Rig Creator

- added labels to buttons so now you know what buttons do and what you must pick
- as track you cant select geometry object
- removed pivots pre-requirement now are sets automaticly
version 0.4:
- added steering wheel rig
- modifyin track shape after creating rig will not cause any axes helpers scaling

- added breaks rig
- fixed deflection of wheels from axes when are conformed to very steep surface
- animation control helpers is more evident (red one named "front axis helper")
- breaks(front or back pair) and steering wheel are not required
- whole script progress can be watched in listener window
in next release (v0.5) will be following features:
- thanks to Shawn Lewis's Follow Surface no max standard conform space warp is needed, so you will be able to set terrain directly in script ui(and thanks this creating of car rig will be mutch easier)
- car speed setup and measurement
- better layer management
- fixed OMG bug on folowing steep terrain

i see you have max instaled
i see you have max instaled on C: drive and windows have problems to copy something on system drive so its some sort of rights issue, try to run max as administrator or turn off UAC
creating error again ....when i run the screip it create error
complete error unable to create copy/move destination C ...............what to do...???

Problem SOLVED
I got the problem solved, later i saw the frod´s then everthing works fine at 3dmax 2011.

problem
I install the script by running at maxscript, nothing happens, then i click on viewport, and open the 3dmax customize interface.
but i dont finde the script name.
How can i proceed?

its strange, i found some old
its strange, i found some old instalation of max 8 and try to run the script and works fine
but i can prepare debug version and post it here so we will better see where is the error but it takes a couple of days (i have a lot of other work now)
Older Version of Max
Yeah, sometimes its difficult with my older version of max. But I can still do a lot of stuff with it. So its cool.
Version Requirements
I am able to install the script just fine.
I am able to drag the script into a toolbar just fine.
However, when I launch the script I get the following error pop up:
The popup window is titled:
MAXScript MacroScript Error Exception.
Then in the window itself the actual Error messages reads as follows:
--Syntax error: at bad, expected factor
--In line:
Also, there is a small square character that appears at the end of the comment
--In Line:
and finally there is an ok button at the end of the window.
When I click the OK button the box disappears and nothing happens.
Any help would be appreciated.

script is developed in max 2008 and with never version there will be no problem but with older like max 8 im not sure if rewritering the script will be possible because i dont have max 8 and i dont know the missing msx functions :(
