This script collects all the Vray materials of the scene and allows you to easily change theirs subdivisions parameters.
Only tested with max 2015
Any feedback is highly appreciated

 

Octane Render Queue

The OctaneQueue script makes possible the Render Queue with Octan Render for 3dsMax.
I've translated the Queue by an animated camera: the Camera Queue.
The Octane Queue script finds all the cameras in the scene (they must have the defoult Octane Render Camera name) and their Target. The Octane Queue generates the new Camera Queue and animates it on the position of all the Cameras in the scene.
In order to start the Render Queue the user must render the animation of the CameraQueue.

Reuse, rinse, repeat

Use shred to store and tag functions or algorithms. This makes it easy to retrieve them later on when you need them. Shred also allows you to gradually improve your snippets. It’s a great way to gradually improve common pieces of code.

Make Blinds

Make Blinds is a free MaxScript that will create vertical or horizontal window blinds in seconds. With just a few clicks you can populate hundreds of windows with randomized blinds.

This script offers two modes- 'simple' mode and 'power' mode. Simple mode is a single click operation. Simply select the windows you want to treat and it will create vertical blinds with random window coverage. Power mode offers the following features:

Choose between vertical or horizontal blinds
Specify the width of the blinds and their offset from the window

DiffuseMapper

This one sets the Diffuse (and/or Ambient) Color of a Material to the average color value of the texture that is applied to the Diffuse Mapping Channel

This is simple script to change default 3ds Max - when double click on .max file

I did it because sometimes windows couldn't change it with default "Open with..." and still open in wrong version.

CombineMultiSub

Converts a selection of objects with materials applied to all have a single Multi/Sub-Object material with each of its sub-materials be the same materials that were formerly applied as top level materials. This script uses the Material Modifier to give each object a specific material ID#.

UVPipe - Mod by Norman3D

This script will allow you to send meshes to UVLayout and get them back. It's a modified version of Robert Fletcher's script.

It should be compatible with 3dsmax 9 all the way up to 3dsmax 2013.
