Isolate Selection legacy Mode for 2013
In previous versions of 3ds Max the Isolate Selection was implemented using MAXScript.
In 3ds Max 2013, the functionality was reimplemented as an integral part of the User Interface.
Due to this update the Isolate mode is now a toggle. This changes the legacy ability to isolate selected objects that are already isolated like what was possible in 3ds Max 2012 and previous versions.
This script restores the legacy functionality when assigned to a keyboard shortcut and was created as a functional example of the code.

Fantastic
Thanks for this script! Great improvement.
Do you have plans to address the issue that the active camera viewport is not maintained when you come back out of Isolation? It always switches to some random perspective view.
If you could fix this it would be fantastic!
Thanks for your hard work.

Hey Kelly I tried to re-polish your script to work like the oldest one....
Just drop it to max windows and apply the keyboard shortcut (alt+Q)....thats all , it'll work like old one.
what the hell with max right
what the hell with max right now, not getting better, instead getting worse,...instead work on reducing the bugs , they addding it...max is like big trash collection, compilation of plugins thats not original from max developer, they try make it changes but they screw it up. I love max , really , but every years I follow the development progress, its make me sad. Duh.....
