"Allows you to load any CUI in your CUI directory with one button. Just make sure you add this button to every UI. This way - you can quickly jump around from one UI to another. It's great because it allows you to have one UI for modeling and another for animation!"

Curate : Search & Store Images

2 votes

UPDATE 2016:
Due to Google's new API update, the current python script doesn't work as intended. Currently trying to find a work around. Stay tuned.

Curate is your personal library of images collected when searching for images online. From within 3DSmax, with the help of a python script, Curate searches for images online and stores them locally for later use. Every search will be stored in a library that can be accessed and loaded at anytime. Search info is stored within the library.

Curly

Curly is a scripted modifier plugin for 3ds Max which allows users to create rolling and unrolling animations. This modifier makes it very simple to demonstrate a blanket unrolling, or a flag unraveling from it’s supports. Check out the videos for Curly, to see it in action.

Curtain-wall Wizard

14 votes

Update : URL link updated as the old link was wrong. Apologies for any frustration caused!

The Curtainwall Wizard allows you to take any polygonal object and
convert it into a curtainwall system; complete with glass, mullions,
and silicon joints. The resulting curtainwall is parametric so you can
make changes to the base mesh and it will update model in realtime.

Please see the page on my website for more information on this script .

CURVES_to_3DS allows you to make 3d models right from Adobe Photoshop in a single click.

Custom Align

4 votes

This script is intended to align objects with a given spacing. You can randomnize position and scale and choose between object center or object base, you can also align to min and max, this is especially useful for randomizing books on shelves or any similar task like populating supermarket shelves or if you have to evenly space any objects.

Custom Attribute Editor

7 votes

This one allows you to fairly easily edit your custom attributes. It also allows you to build a rollout using VMS and then use that as your custom attribute rollout so layout is in your hands. On redefining a CA stuff like wired parameters etc. are preserved (as long as you don't change Paramblock and UI control names - editing captions as seen in the rollouts is fine).

Custom Attribute Manager

Custom Attributes (CAs) can lie dormant in a Max file taking up valuable file space. This utility checks for and deletes unnecessary CAs
