MCG Clone On Verts

This MCG will clone on vertices of your emitter object. It will work with/without vert subobject selection and/or soft selection. With soft selection, it will auto scale the clone based on the feathering.

Yes I know it's ANOTHER cloner..but since I've been doing some exercises on MCG vertex stuff, seems a bit of a waste if I don't make something of it...

MCG RandomRotateMeshes Compound

This compound is for random rotation of meshes (array). Currently, randomization would rotate one direction only (either positive or negative)...absolutely hate OneDirection !!!! So use your maxtool to call this compound for true randomization, ie. if you want to rotate randomly up to 10degs, then it actually does from -10 to +10degs Please note this requires compound CacheValue from the Sample Pack so you should install that. It also requires compound Remap from here: http://cganimator.com/mcg-blendedboxmapping-modifier/ So you'll have to thank Changsoo or Peter Blackearth for it.

MCG Surface Noise

This MCG creates basic noise on your geometry. Please do not expect this to work like SurfaceNoise in ZBrush. MCG does not handle massive amount of polys well right now. This is simply my mcg exercise into subobject area...but I've decided to make this avail publicly.

MCG Loft/Extrude

This MCG allows you to loft a spline along another spline, ie. extrude.

NOTE: Use a dummy Plane, just 1 poly will do, then apply the Vu_mcgLoft modifier on that Plane, not the Xsection or the Curve.

MCG QuadMidpoint/Normal Compound

This compound returns the midpoint of a quad. Yes, it's finally here....it's what everyone has been crying out for !!! Note that it treats 2 tris as a quad...so if your mesh has tris in it...I'm not a miracle worker....

But this is the Holy Grail of MCG...a friggin' Quad !!! Yes, Baz Lurhman should make a movie about this...Quadzilla !!! alright alright, I've had my fun...let's get back to work...

BUR_SpinScatter is an object clone modifier that creates clones of the underlying object using an offset value and a rotation angle to create naturalistic patterns i.e. sunflower, sea anemone, etc. You can push the tool pretty far to create a wide variety of effects and all of the settings can be animated.

The graph also contains notes on how everything works.

 

Package also contains three compounds:

MCG Fibonacci Number Sequence Compound

This compound returns an array of integers in the Fibonacci Sequence.

F0 = 0 (user modifiable)

F1 = 1 (user modifiable)

Fn where n >= 3, will return an array up to n Fibonacci Numbers.

So F10 will return

Array index        : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

'Human' index  : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Fibonacci Array: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34

MCG Cosmic Vibrator

Put some vibes into your objects. Teach the kids about electrons and the Uncertainty Principle...

 Ver 2.00.00: Added colours so that as the electron jumps to different levels it will take on different colours depending on MultiMatIDs. Or if using vertex colours, it will become whiter the higher it jumps.

You can simply put the 3 files into your current tools directory and overwrite.
